The fifth coordination meeting in Santiago

Santiago de Compostela City hosted the 5th coordination meeting and study visits of the Atlantic Social Lab  project on the 30th and 31st October 2018.

During the meeting partners addressed the implementation activities of the project. On the first day, the Scottish Community Development Centre presented to the other partners of the project their organisation, and after this, during the Interregional Working Groups each partner provided updated information on the pilot actions performance. Representatives of the 4 workings groups - welfare services, public engagement, green economy and social economy - worked together in their fields of work. After the working sessions, partners visited two projects financed by the participatory budget programme "Compostela Decide": a children's playground and an urban vegetable garden situated in the city.

On the second day, Santiago de Compostela team organised two study visits related with social economy and green inclusive economy, ASPAS Association (an Association of parents of people with intellectual disabilities) and COREGAL, a company dedicated to a comprehensive environmental management that creates quality employment for people with disabilities.
