A film series on disability in Lisbon

In order to sensitize and socialize society on disability and the rights of people with disabilities, IncomodArte presented three themes - Sexuality, Independent Living and War - on September 21, 22 and 23 for three consecutive days of exhibition and debate that combined film screenings and Q&A sessions on these themes with guest commentators. It took place at  Parque das Nações in Lisbon.

This film series is a joint organisation of the DECIDE project – Deficiência e autodeterminação: o desafio da Vida Independente em Portugal (Disability and self-determination: the challenge of Independent Living in Portugal), the Lisbon Municipal Council (CML), the Portuguese Association of Disabled Persons (APD), the Portuguese Association of Disabled Veterans (ADFA), the Centre for Independent Living in Lisbon (CVI), the Parish Council of the Parque das Nações and the Pavilhão do Conhecimento.
