Round table to explore the socially innovative Scottish Social Care Act in GCU on 12 February 2020.

In the framework of ASL project, Glasgow Caledonian University invite all interested people to attend a round table discussion event here at GCU on 12 February 2020. This event is exploring the socially innovative Scottish Social Care Act and the resulting approach to self-directed care. It is being run in collaboration with SIKE (Social Innovation Knowledge Exchange, an Erasmus+ project), the University of Stirling, and a third sector organisation, Scottish Care.

The event will produce a Briefing Paper for policymakers in government and local authorities on future directions for this innovative approach to social care in Scotland.
